Batumi Botanical Garden is one of the main attractions of the city, distinguished by its location, unique floristic planning, collection of subtropical plants, centuries-old woody trees, and panoramic views of the Black Sea.

The Botanical Garden is located 9 km from Batumi, on the territory of Mtsvane Kontskhi. The garden has 9 floristic sections, 3 parks, and a Colchian reserve. Here you will find about 1,800 woody and 5,000 herbaceous plants. The garden features phytogeographic sections of the humid subtropics of East Asia, the Himalayas, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, North America, South America, the Mediterranean, and Transcaucasia. Citrus, camellia, rose, and other unique collections are gathered here.

The Botanical Garden has three different entrances. It takes an average of 2–3 hours to explore the entire garden, although, if you wish, you can also travel this route by an electric car, which you can rent on-site. It is also possible to use the dining facilities in the garden, arrange picnics and camping, hire a tour guide, hold wedding ceremonies, and purchase your favorite plants.

The Botanical Garden is an ideal place for nature lovers. It is the most visited place in Batumi by tourists, but it is also a favorite spot for local residents.
